FOCUSPIN CASHMERE

CASHMERE PRODUCTION PROCESS

Scouring

We put the selected cashmere into cashmere scouring machine, adding some washing cleaning agent, then make out the sourced cashmere.

Purchasing

we always purchase the raw cashmere from the beginning of April, directly from the raw material agents in grassland. You know that it is impossible to get large quantity of cashmere from shepherds directly, but must get from those agents, they buy raw cashmere from doors to doors.

Second Hand selection

Hand selection again, divide the cashmere into several group according to colors. Also, it must be done by hands.

Dehairing

We have 100 dehairing machines, which are the most modern dehairing machine in the world, each machine has 4 cylinders. This is the most important step, the course goat's hair must be taken out, from here we can get the dehaired cashmere, 100%cashmere.

Dyeing

We use top dyeing, also called fibre dyeing. Usually, order for top dyeing is 50kgs per color, not matter melange or solid. The colors from top dyeing are much better than the yarn dye (also called hank dye), because the color unit can attach on the fiber very tightly, and the hand feel is much better.

Blending

Before carding, all the colored fiber must be blended in blanding machines, this is an important step, all the fibers must be blended equably with warm water and oil sprey.

Spinning

Then put the yarn top on the spinning machines, here we add the single yarn twist on the yarn, ususally it is 420TPM.

Carding

After the fiber blended, they must be kept in special-designed storage for at least 8 hourse so that the water and oil will be more even covered on the fibre, then take the fiber out and put them in carding machines. Here we get the yarn top with no twist.

Combing

Comb the greasy cashmere down from the goats, this process always happens from the beginning of April. We call the raw material greasy cashmere, or raw cashmere.

First Hand selection

After the greasy cashmere arrive in our factory, what we will do is to select the cashmere by hand, they must take the grass seeds, soil, colored fiber out. This work must be done by hand, no machine can replace hands.

We export about 100 tons of cashmere yarn every year, mainly to Nepal, India, Japan, Korea, Madagascan, Mauritius. We have 13 spinning production lines.

Winding

This step is to control the yarn levelness, very important.

Doubler

From this step, we double two single yarns in one. Called two for one.

Twister

This is the last step for the yarn, we add twist to the double yarn, the twist for the double yarn is usually about 230TPM. Here we get the finished yarn.
